Small Beginnings

When I was a child, my mother used to take me to visit my 3 aunts, each one of them had a special talent, and I was in awe of all of them. One would make wedding dresses, another would make bouquets, and another one would make flowers and arrangements.

As a child I never truly understood this was a way of living for them, but was fascinated by the many different materials, jewels, sequence, flowers and the sort they had laying around their tiny living room area.

Fast forward to adulthood and real life as it is now; I understand plenty of their passion and finally grasp the concept of where it all started, and why I became seriously obsessed with crafting, and creating.

I can only hope to pass this on to generations to come, and perhaps be remembered one day as dearly as I remember my 3 aunts.
